Nellie (1994-2007)
A Tribute to Can. CH. Lady Nelson of Silmaril
Nellie came into my life at 4 months of age. Over the next few months I
adopted her and during that time she became Can. CH Lady Nelson of Silmaril,
under Silmaril. She was drop dead gorgeous, but unfortunately her future
breeding program came to an end at a very young age. Rick and Michelle made
the decision to place this gal with my sister who lived out near Vancouver,
and for that we will be forever grateful. She came back to Ontario with
my sister and at the grand old age of 13 was finally laid to rest.
Personally, I have so many memories of this elegant Golden, but for my sister
she has even more. How my sister loved this gal! Nothing was ever too good
for her.
This gal meant more to both of us in so many ways and it was a very unhappy
moment when the time came.
Nellie, you persevered, you strived to be the best Golden on the earth,
you were a true representative of the breed and we will miss you!
